Theo Bell

President, CEO

As President and CEO, Theo Bell leads the Delane Consulting and Talent Management team and strategy. His exclusive client list includes Audible, Affinity, Samsung, Frontier Communications, Altice USA, and Oscar Healthcare, to name a few. Under his direction, Delane has grown 50 percent year to year since launching in 2014.


Prior to establishing Delane, Theo was President of Constratus Staffing, a boutique Consulting firm serving Fortune 100 companies. Before Constratus, Theo enjoyed a rewarding career at Verizon as vice president of PMO & Portfolio Management. There, Theo had the responsibility for a major organizational transformation initiative to develop and deploy a company-wide portfolio ($300m) management and new product development practice that gave Verizon a strategic edge over its competition. Theo’s methodology became a best practice and deployed across all Verizon’s divisions.

 

In 2012, Theo was awarded PM Solution’s (now PMI) Global Project Management Office (PMO) of the Year Award. The award highlighted Theo’s expertise in driving culture change and getting results. 


In past roles, Theo was the PMO director for Verizon Wireless. There, his team was responsible for developing the new product development and stage-gate process that served to drive alignment and effective product delivery. Theo’s group served as program and project managers for the critical and complex products and services development efforts including launching the iPhone. 


Theo was the PMO director for the Wireless Division of Agere Systems Inc (formerly Lucent Technologies), then, the leading provider of semiconductor communication devices. This had a strong PMO function as the product managers reported to the PMO director. During Theo’s time as director, he helped Agere Systems substantially expand their Mobile Terminal Division to produce significant revenue and profitable growth. 


Theo began his business career at AT&T. In his 11 years with them, he held positions of rapidly increasing responsibility across Customer Service, IT, Product Management, and Marketing Operations. At AT&T, he was lastly a Senior Manager in their Microelectronics Division and responsible for Program Managing a company-wide Oracle system re-engineering effort. 


Theo is known for executive coaching, organization transformation, strategy-thinking and lean business agility. His talents have proven crucial to helping organizations grow and remain competitive. Theo was featured in Management Review Magazine February 2000 edition as a leader in Corporate Transformation.


Theo has served on several staffing companies’ advisory boards along with being the Board of Trustees at Da Vinci Discovery Center of Science and Technology in Bethlehem, PA where he and his wife are founding trustees.


Theo received a Master Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. He attended College at Penn State University and studied Electrical Engineering. He and his wife have three children and reside in Bethlehem, PA. His hobbies include basketball, football, and golf.
