Cara currently is the vice president of Sales and Business Development at Delane Consulting and Talent Management. Within her first year she bought over $1.5M of new business to Delane. Cara prides herself on her accomplishments and having a successful 32-year career in Corporate America. She has a B.S. in Business Management and an E.M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson Silberman School of Business. 

Cara joined Delane as the vice president of New Business Development after a 30 year- career as a Program Management executive. Cara was the PMO director at Verizon Wireless in the New Product and Business organization, where she directed and led an experienced team of Project, Program, and Portfolio managers, with the responsibility of a $1.2B portfolio of products and services. Cara has been recognized in the industry as a Project Management Professional and was a strategic member of the PMI Global Executive Council from 2013-2016.

 

Cara is an entrepreneur at heart and has recently become the proud owner of a Rita’s Italian Ice Franchise, where she plans to own up to five in the Central Florida Market.

 

Cara is an avid golfer, bikes, and is a member of her church’s hospitality team where she spends countless hours giving back to her church and her community. Cara also spends 10-15 hours a week personally coaching people to help them find their path and Plan B for life.

 

Cara is a proud member of the National Black MBA, and she shares the passion and mission of giving back to the local community and youth programs to help advance their economic power.
